Charlie’s Story.

Charlie Klaesius is a professional ultra-marathon runner, adventure athlete, and performance coach. He has competed globally — from the mountains of Mexico to the cobblestone streets of France —  originally from North Georgia he now calls Shelter Island, New York home when he’s not immersing himself in new cultures around the world.

With a background in business, athletics, modeling, and design, Charlie blends structure and soul in his coaching — helping high-performing clients navigate the edge of comfort and growth. A life-long creative, Charlie sees every pursuit as a form of expression: whether he's training for a race, building a brand, guiding a client, or decorating a home, the goal is the same — make the end result a beautiful work of art.

We are all living our own story. Make it a good one.

This philosophy — the courage to take on big challenges, the work to pursue your passions fully, and the clarity to embrace failure as a necessary teacher — is at the heart of The Milestones Club and has been Charlie’s guiding light since his first ambitious adventure when he mountain biked from Telluride, Colorado to Moab, Utah at the age of 10.

Since graduating college at 20, Charlie’s path has been anything but conventional. He’s skied some of the world’s tallest peaks from the Rockies to the Andes, appeared on magazine covers and HGTV screens, rescued a legendary dog in a 100-mile race through Mexico, and competed at the highest levels of endurance sport.

You’ll now find him running trails with his Mexican ultra-dog Hikuri, crafting custom furniture and interior spaces, training for his next big race, writing, or helping someone else discover their next great milestone.

What he’s learned through it all is this: the places and accomplishments fade, but the people you meet — and who you become along the way — are what stay with you. That’s what led him to create The Milestones Club.
